The script opens with a prologue narrated by Stan Lee, explaining that ever since the Avengers used the Infinity Gauntlet, reality has fractured into infinite threads. One key moment, Peter Parker was bitten by the radioactive spider — but in this version, that pivotal "Bite" has unraveled reality. We then follow a genetically altered spider as it chooses a new path/thread, leading us to Miles Morales’ universe.

Oscorp explodes in a massive fireball (implying Norman Osborn/Green Goblin involvement).

Harry Osborn watches the burning building from a limo, calling out “Dad!”

Jefferson Davis (Miles’ father), a SWAT officer, is on the scene and laments the deaths, including children “just like Miles.”

Cut to Miles Morales at home:

• He comes home from school, grabs a Capri Sun, flops on the couch, and scrolls through his phone (texts from Tyrone Johnson, Tandy Bowen, and Barbara Rodriguez).
• An unusual spider crawls from his father's bag onto the couch and bites his hand.
• Miles absently smacks it, notices the bite, rinses it, and puts ice on it.
• His mother Rio notices the bite looks infected immediately and tells him to stay home, but Miles ignores her, says he’s meeting friends, and rushes out (mentioning his dad wants to talk to him).

On the street:
Miles heads to the bus stop. As he waits, someone (Amadeus Cho) playfully snatches his backpack, shoves him, and escapes on the bus while grinning smugly.
