Savage Land is a post-apocalyptic comic-style epic blending Hulk lore, Symbiote mythology, and Wolverine into a mythic, frontier-style setting.

The Story
Long after the fall of Earth, on a harsh alien world, the Hulk’s descendants—the Children of the Banner—struggle to survive against a plague of Symbiote dragons (spawn of Knull, god of the Symbiotes). Their leader is Maestro, an aged, intelligent Hulk who recounts the legendary story of his great-grandfather, the original Hulk—the Banner, now mythologized as the Worldbreaker.

The Ancient Past (Legend of the Banner)

• Banner’s gamma accident transforms him and slowly erodes his life.
• Betrayed and launched into space, he crash-lands on a primitive world.
• His rage grows so vast he becomes a mountain-sized being, eventually ascending to battle Knull himself.

After a catastrophic betrayal involving his spaceship and the death of his family, Banner becomes the mythic Worldbreaker Hulk, leaving behind a fractured world populated by his descendants.

The Present Day
Generations later, the surviving Hulks live as rugged desert clans, fighting symbiotes that roam especially at night. Their world is a wasteland—harsh deserts, primitive outposts, scrappy tech, and constant threat.

Knull’s Parallel Storyline

A cosmic subplot reveals:

• Knull battling cosmic figures near a star-forming flux point.
• Knull's body shattered, he crash-lands on a Shi'ar moon.
• Over ages, he rebuilds strength in a cave as the moon dies around him—a setup for future collision with the Hulks’ world.

Wolverine’s Arrival

Wolverine appears in the wasteland:

• He wanders a desolate diner town.
• Gets into a brutal fight with the Hulk clan.
• They capture him, torture him under the sun, then unknowingly haul him along on a supply run.
• After escaping a mountain stronghold during a snowstorm, he staggers off toward a confrontation with the Symbiote threat and the Banner legacy.

The Next Generation
Hulk children explore the mountains where Banner’s ship crashed long ago. Snow containing gamma radiation strengthens them and protects them from Symbiote bats. They seek relics, flowers, and the origins of their people—teasing future revelations about Banner’s arrival and the ancient war.
